Our Story
Bottega Organica takes research to a new level, combining anti-aging studies with 100% natural and organic ingredients. The results are a revolutionary skincare line that's driven by hand crafted formulas made to nurture and support the skin while extending youthfulness. While many skincare companies claim to offer natural products, the reality is that the overwhelming majority of skincare products are loaded with synthetic compounds. Day after day, synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers and fragrances penetrate the skin, reach the bloodstream and spread throughout the body with harmful effects.
This is why we use pure extra-virgin olive oil from our Ligurian farm as the base for most of our products because it is the single most effective natural carrier for anti-aging plant extracts. Our olive oil is pure, natural and obtained only through same day cold-pressing of hand-picked organically-grown olives. From our 500-year-old Italian farm, we proudly stand behind the whole production process, ensuring proper handling at every step of the way, unlike many unscrupulous olive oil producers.

We farm many acres of pristine, uncontaminated land in the coastal regions of Liguria, Italy where precious herbs and fruits with anti-aging properties grow wild and are cultivated without pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, following a family tradition of many generations. In our Ligurian farm situated in the hills that surround the medieval town of Pieve di Teco, we grow organic Salvia Haenkei and other powerful medicinal herbs and olive trees and channel their rejuvenating powers into 100% natural and pure formulas.
Here olives are handpicked and cold-pressed on the same day to create the luxurious golden base enriched with the rejuvenating powers of prawn sage. Our signature floral mists and pure essential oils, use steam extraction from select plants, rich in anti-aging hydro-soluble molecules for increased effectiveness.

How was Bottega Organica created?
"Bottega Organica was born from the scientific research of Dr. Andrea Alimonti, a world-renowned molecular geneticist. After years of research in the field of senescence, in December 2016 Dr. Alimonti published in the scientific journal 'Aging' his discoveries on Salvia Haenkei, the key ingredient present in all Bottega Organica products. Dr. Alimonti demonstrated how the extracts of this particular and very special sage of South American origin slows skin aging by 50%."
Where does Bottega Organica come from?
"We are based in the historical town of Pieve di Teco in Liguira. We are from Liguria, Italy, you can find pictures of our 500-year-old organic family farm on instagram and on our website. On this farm we produce our olive oil and we harvest Salvia Haenkei, a unique species of Salvia with rejuvenating power."
What is the Bottega Orgainca mission?

What personal beauty tips can you share with the audience?
"For all Oils, both facial and body, the best thing is to use them on dampened skin, immediately after a shower or after washing your face. Generally, less product will be used and the oil will be absorbed faster into your skin without leaving a greasy sensation, instead a feel of amazing elasticity."
What is a Bottega Organica skincare ritual?
"Bottega Organica products are very versatile and allow you to create personalIzed skincare rituals. My current ritual is simple and effective. In the winter after a shower I spread on the whole body with Bottega Organica - Contour Body Balm rich in peppermint and chili pepper. The feeling of immediate rejuvenation is exceptional. In the summer I prefer a Bottega Organica Dual Action Oil Mist: Vitalize Body Oil (Lavender) or Repose Body Oil (Orange), both leave you intensely fresh.
For the face, I always start with Cleanse Face Oil for cleaning, also ideal for waterproof makeup. Elevate Face Oil + Calm Face Mist to nourish and refresh. Once or twice a week I use the Refine Face Scrub which helps me, especially for the forehead and nose. Maybe twice per month, I use the Restore Face Mask, more suitable for dry skin, but it's so relaxing that I use it as an occasional cuddle. Most importantly, a Bottega Organica Lip Balm is always in my bag: I prefer the Refresh Lip Balm in summer and our Soothe Lip Balm in winter."

What do you love about clean beauty products?
