The World of Anima Mundi Herbals

I am Adriana, the herbalist, medicine maker, educator and founder over at Anima Mundi. I'm originally from Costa Rica and started Anima Mundi several years ago in Brooklyn as a means to bridging ancient remedies to the modern world. We offer a wide spectrum of remedies and plants from the world, integrating from several traditions that I've studied over the year, such as rainforest tribal styles, Ayurveda, Chinese-Daoist Medicine, and European style alchemy. I believe that by preserving these ancient forms of indigenous botany, we keep alive a very sacred aspect to our source.

Anima Mundi infuses several botanical practices ranging from Rainforest Tribal herbalism to Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. Each formulation has a unique composition of herbs with a story. All of our liquid assets are extracted between 28 days to up to 6 months, slowly extracting into different menstrums. Each formula is handcrafted bio-dynamically in our laboratory in NYC, which means that we extract each herb using a biodynamic (lunar) calendar to extract all the constituents properly. We carefully craft one of a kind formulas for mind + body wellness using the finest sources that we come across. We make it our mission to constantly search for new sources to elevate the potency of our blends.
